§Your information

Privacy, clearly explained.

How Enervia Energy Group handles the personal information you share with us, including details and optional files sent through our enquiry form.

1. Who we are

Enervia Energy Group provides electrical, solar, battery, air-conditioning, EV charging, maintenance and related services. In this policy, “Enervia”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Enervia Energy Group.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you contact or work with us, we may collect:

  • your name, phone number and email address;
  • your suburb, job location and preferred contact details;
  • information about the work, property, equipment or service you need;
  • photos, plans, PDFs or other files you choose to send;
  • communications, quotes, invoices, service records and feedback; and
  • technical information processed by our website hosting and form-delivery providers when they operate and secure their services, which may include an IP address, browser details and request information.

We generally collect this information directly from you through our website, by phone, email or text, during a site visit, or while providing services.

3. Why we use it

We collect, hold and use personal information to:

  • respond to enquiries and assess requested work;
  • prepare quotes and arrange site visits or services;
  • communicate about projects, appointments, safety and aftercare;
  • provide, administer and improve our services;
  • manage accounts, records, warranties and legal obligations; and
  • protect our website, customers, workers and business from misuse or fraud.

We do not use enquiry photos or personal information in advertising or project galleries without permission.

4. Enquiry form and attachments

Our enquiry form asks for the details needed to understand and respond to your request. Attaching a file is optional. You can submit the form without a photo or document.

Please do not upload sensitive information that is not needed for the job, or identifiable photos of another person unless you have their permission to share them.

5. When information may be shared

We may share relevant information with trusted people or organisations where reasonably needed to operate our business or complete your work, including:

  • website hosting, form processing and email-delivery providers;
  • employees, subcontractors, professional advisers, suppliers or manufacturers;
  • finance providers where you ask us to help with finance options; and
  • regulators, insurers, emergency services or law-enforcement bodies where required or authorised by law.

Our website currently uses FormSubmit to deliver online enquiries to Enervia’s email address. Third-party websites linked from our site, including finance providers, have their own privacy practices.

6. Overseas processing

Some website, hosting, email or form service providers may store or process information outside Australia. The locations used by those providers can change. When you submit an online enquiry, your information may therefore be processed in another country under that provider’s systems and policies.

7. Storage, security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide services, manage warranties or records, resolve disputes, or meet legal and regulatory requirements. Information that is no longer required is deleted, destroyed or de-identified where reasonable and lawful.

8. Access, correction or deletion

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request access to it, ask us to correct inaccurate information, or ask us to delete information where we are able to do so. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request, and legal or record-keeping requirements may sometimes prevent deletion.

Email [email protected] or call 0450 636 946.

9. Privacy questions and complaints

If you have a privacy question or complaint, contact us using the details below and explain what happened. We will review the matter and aim to respond within a reasonable time. If your concern is not resolved and the Privacy Act applies, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices, services or legal obligations change. The current version and effective date will remain available on this page.
